Free camera

Hi gents,

is ist somehow possible for the mapmakers, to put over the groundtragets that are not moving a free camera?
So we could have in videos a nicer view of the target that get destroyed?

Yes you can. Use FMB\view\object brouser\type\static camera
Push insert when your mouse coursor is on the target. Camera icon appears. Near type -> new inset -> Camera name and height. Set height you need, only integer.
If you need a column of cameras on the different height, use text editor and edit in the mis file I highlighted red. That is position of the cameras, just set it the same in all. Last digits is the height.

If the game code or static camera settings could allow set angle of the camera view by asix, we could make a film cut like in Matrix :)

thx for the answer, but this was not what i am asking for. Sorry my foult.
I mean if the mapmakers that make the maps for ATAG could place a free camera opver the not moving targets for better
view on groundtargets. Makes it easyer if you try to make a video.

Wouldnt be hard as long as you couldn't use them while the game was running since it would unfair to bomber guys.

Hi Spiritus_Mortem,

is only for video making, and as far i know there is no way to got into the camara view live on ATAG. Would it not be like hitting F2?

I'd assume so. I don't mind any alterations to Steamworks or Relinquish if someone wants to do this.

I think it would be cool..Do High Altitude bombing..If you make it back alive..You could watch the short clip video of your bombing sortee to see what damaged you caused. Then you could take off again. It would encourage bombers to do all they can to make the return flight trip back and not just give up. Realistic?..Sort of..It would be like a recon flight taking place and video and info delivered. If your shot down, then the video evidence is lost..And nothing is available to view before spawning back in. Not sure if that's even possible..But I think it would be a cool Idea.
