Fall Rot, June 5 1940 v2.3 (Blue Briefing)
June 5, 1940 11:00
Weather: Partly cloudy, winds from the SW @ 4 m/s.
"Fall Gelb" ("Case Yellow") was huge success. The bulk of the BEF was trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk and forced to swim back across The Channel. The amount of material and equipment abandoned on the beaches is impossible to imagine. Now we turn our attention south and launch "Fall Rot" ("Case Red"), the drive on Paris. Smash the enemy air force and defensive positions so the panzers can move forward.
Jagd & Zerstörer Gruppen:
Peform frei jagds over the front lines & provide close escort to our bomber forces.
Stuka & Kampf Gruppen:
Destroy the Infantry positions near Dieppe (AW10.5), Amiens (BE09.4), & Rouen (AW05.5).
Destroy the Armoured formation outside Poix-de-Picardie (BC08.5).
Destroy the HQ & supply base at Le Havre (AP05.5).
Destroy the airfields at Dieppe Saint-Aubin (AW09.7), Haute-Fontaine (BC06.5), Le Havre Octeville (AO05.9), Poix Nord (BC09.2), Creil (BG02.7), & Montdidier (BG07.6).

Fall Rot, June 5 1940 v2.3 (Red Briefing)
Fall Rot v2.3c (Blue Briefing)
Fall Rot v2.3c
June 5, 1940 11:00
Weather: Partly cloudy, winds from the SW @ 8 knots.
Operation Dynamo, the evacuation of the BEF from Dunkirk, is complete but the battle for France continues. The French army has formed defensive lines along the river Somme, ready to delay any German advance on Paris. RAF units still operating in France will do their best to support the defense.
Fighter Command:
Patrol the front lines for Luftwaffe fighter & bomber formations. Jerry has been using Abbeville & Amiens as a rally point. Spitfires have been operating from Le Havre (AO05.9), Haute-Fontaine (BC06.5), & Creil (BG02.7). Protect these bases at all costs. Failure to do so will result in the Spitfire squadrons being pulled back to England.
Bomber Command:
German panzer formations have begun massing near Abbeville (BB12.1) & Amiens (BF10.1).
Infantry and supply columns have been spotted south of Arras (BI13.7) & west of Frevent (BE14.1).
Luftwaffe bases at Abbeville (BB12.5), Ligescourt (BB14.3), Cramont/Yvrench (BC12.9), Barly (BE13.2), Achiet-Gravillers (BI12.1), & Arras Saint-Liger (BI13.3).
