Here's a skin I did just for fun, not sure of the time period that it was used though.

Bf110C-7 of "III/ZG 76"

The eyes are a little funky, but the way the skin wraps on the 110's nose is messy; uses 3 different areas of the skin and distorts the image as it wraps around the nose.

And also a Ju88 of Sturzkampfgeschwader 77. St.G 77 participated in the Battle of Britain but I can't confirm if these markings were in use.

By the way, according to this, they did not operate 110s :S

I've only found two images of this artwork on a 110 and one of them is referenced to KG 54, it was speculation on my part to assume that this was the case. I guess I'll just have to call it a 110 of "unknown" regiment.

Since both images I've found only show the front of the plane I can make no assumptions as to what the back of the plane looked like.

Well, we should go and correct the wiki page to include 110s :)

PM me your email and I'll send it to you.

Which one do you want; or both?
With or without swastikas?

Many thanks for sharing this skin. You know somewhere in the dark fuzzy part of my brain ,this rang a bell! Back in 1963 no one really knew very much at all about German markings -they were a mystery to modellers who were trying to figure out how to paint their Airfix ,Revell,& Monogram kits. Most of their results were laughable conjecture or just plain fiction. One of the first series of books that addressed this problem were penned by Karl Ries jr. .He published about six books ,with many color( colour,as many of the British published books would say...veddy classy the Brits!) pages & small black & white illustrations, covering chapter I verse about German planes & their various markings, codes etc. I still have all of the ones I bought back then ( but have largely forgotten nearly all the info I once knew.So this morning I pulled the first of his books,Markings & Camouflage Systems of Luftwaffe Aircraft in World War Two, off the book shelf, dusted it off & guess what I found? Yup:

and now after nearly 50 years I can actually ( sort of) fly it!

Thanks again!

Very cool!

Interesting that the illustration shows the outline as being red. From the black and white pictures the line looks so dark that I presumed that it had to be black.
