I hate this thing. Its sticky, overly sprung, and just UHHHHHH !!

I now have a VKB Gunfighter base with the Warthog stick mounted to that.

So this crummy base unit is going spare.

If anyone wants it, maybe for parts, maybe for rebuilding, feel free to make an offer.

The electronics are fine. It's just an inherently flawed mnechanical design.

I might not reply but thats because I'm tremendously antisocial.

If no interest (man i hate this thing) it will go on the bay.

next week probably.

I'd imagine it would be £10 or there abouts to post within the UK

I use 'Seas' Edtracker profile. That way when I look about it is like seeing it through this eyes.

Kinda like getting inside his head. I like to live dangerously....:-)

Steady... The canopy doesn't appear to open.

I have interest but I am not in UK (far, far away), can send money through PayPal - of course shipping cost will be more than £10. Anyway give preference for people near you.

Have a Suncom F-15 grip laying around there, will be interesting do a "F-15 Warthog". :D

Will bear that in mind 1lokos though earlier as I was day dreaming about some fluid mechanics conundrum earlier a side thought popped into my head (as so often happens when the mind wanders).

With all the springs removed this might actually lend itself to becoming part of a radiator lever.

Or maybe a combined elavator / rudder trim control..... That could be pretty useful.

Food for thought !

I can feel a few evenings in the garage coming along....

For what it's worth..

I also had a sticktion issue with mr warthog. Spoiled what is otherwise top draw kit.

I did the rubbing down of the axis pins and plastic burrs left from the moulding and added some decent silicone grease and it is now super smooth. Cost me an hour and a fiver for the wet and dry and the grease.

Just saying this simple fix works if you can be arsed doing it. [emoji106]

Highseas - not familiar withal the messing it would take to put a grip on this but is it complete in itself (ie with all the bits just missing the stick?).

Id be interested if it is.
