Skin preview for TF4.5 Part 2 (... continued)


Here are some more Beaufighters planned for release with TF4.5. These have been made with specific codes.


Code NG-O with Green/Grey/Black camouflage, a nightfighter with extended black camouflage around the lower tail/vertical-stabilizer. This is for the TF4.5 release (as an extra, as it is essentially a 1942 scheme, and has later style roundels and fin flash):

Hello major.

Beaufighter X7842 WM-P, according to the history of 68 Sqn, was subscribed for and presented to the squadron by the Birmingham Civil Defence. The aircraft was flown by P/O Gough & F/S Tate. They claimed a Do217 in early June 1942 flying from RAF Coltishall.

An interesting thing about 68 Sqn was that quite a few of the aircrew were Czech.

As an observation looking at the screen shots it appears that the squadron code letters have transposed to PW-M?

Really looking forward to the Beaufighter and your excellent skins in TF4.5. :thumbsup:

The photos look OK, but in the screenshots the 'W' appears to have moved to the other side of the roundel.

I keep looking at the skins and admiring them. Looking forward to the 'Beau' for sure.

I forgot that I'd edited the skin after taking the screenshots (of an earlier edit).

The skin is correct, but the older screenshots aren't.
