THIS IS THE CORRECT VERSION OF "VIRTUAL COCKPIT" WITH SERVER AND REMOTE CLIENT

ATAG_Septic's version does not work remotely, i.e. you can only use it to output gauges to a second monitor, not to a second PC (despite what the instructions say).

This is the version you want if you want your instruments to display on a second PC, for example a laptop.

It is not my version though. I don't have anything to with Virtual Cockpit I merely uploaded a version as I, like you, had trouble finding it myself.

I've deleted my upload as it seems it is not the full version.

Here you can find a tutorial about how to set VirtualCockpit correctly to let it work in remote mode ;)

Hi. I'm trying to set this up but I cannot select a cockpit. I can see the cockpits on the left, and they highlight in blue when I click on them, but the right window reads "not selected" on top and something i can't understand in red. Have I missed something?

BTW that does not look like the cockpit list I have. I downloaded mine from the ATAG server.

I found another Virtual Cockpit.exe, which i downloaded from Matweich . All good now. Thanks.:thumbsup:

Apologies, it looks like I accidentally uploaded the wrong .exe! :doh:

It's fixed now (i.e. the .zip file has Matweich's correct .exe in it).

After a long spell away from CoD, I return, only to find this no longer seems to work reliably.

I get lots of errors like:

Connect error: Request (code 1) timeout

Occasionally the instruments will appear and update (so it's not a firewall problem - also I can ping the server PC from the remote PC just fine). But the instruments are very laggy, and after a few seconds they will freeze with the following error repeating:

Connect error: Request (code 4) timeout

Has anyone enountered this? Do you know what might be going on?
