I cannot see the two ATAG servers in the Clod multi-player server list I have tried to join with direct ip but it does not recognise that either. I have a steam install of Clod fully updated. system is: Win 7 pro / AMD 970 BE / 8GB ram / Asus Direct CU 570 GTX / 128GB Vertex 4 SSD

Any help appreciated

The server is up and running, have you tried the direct connect button above?

Cheers,

Septic.

tried that and get 1608

I can see the server in the gameserverdirectory.com website listing that shows it live but not in game.

Merlin,

Please go to www.whatismyip.com and let us know your IP address.
We had a spam attack some time back and where forced to block some IPs. Maybe you won the lottery :)

Bad luck, that wasn't it.

Can you at least ping 216.52.148.29? maybe is something to do with your firewall settings.

I can ping it and get a respectable ping of 115 from the UK, nothing obvious on firewall and I have open the port 27016 :banghead:

sounds like your modem or router is "confused" turn off both, then turn the modem on first let it boot up fully then the router.

tried as suggested it still says, as the image above 'server not responding' :banghead:

I was looking to see if that port (27016) was on some ISP blocked list for torrents or what have you but found that there is an other game from steam that shares the same port...I dont think that is your problem but i did find it a bit odd steam would do that.

At this point i have to say that something on your end is blocking the inbound traffic , hence the "server not respoding" , i would contact you ISP and see if there is a problem, also create a local server and see if someone can join your server.

27014-27050 TCP Steam Downloads Unofficial
27014 Source engine dedicated server port (rare) Unofficial
27015 GoldSrc and Source engine dedicated server port Unofficial
27016 Magicka server port (steam)

2/14/2011

Oh, port 7331 is old. It's been using 27016 for a while now, there was a patch update that removed the ability to select the port Magicka hosted on simply because it would ignore that option and host on 27016 anyway.

from steam site:
Steam Client
UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive (Game client traffic)
UDP 27015 to 27030 inclusive (Typically Matchmaking and HLTV)
TCP 27014 to 27050 inclusive (Steam downloads)
UDP 4380

Dedicated or Listen Servers
TCP 27015 (SRCDS Rcon port)
