I'm at home again in the channel map.
I took an instant start with a Spit and headed for Hawkinge.
All was so familiar to me and I set the bird up for a landing and at touchdown said aloud: "We're home!".
It was one of the best landings I have ever made and I sensed that my ride was thrilled to be a part of this new adventure.
I have waited sooooo long for a new and updated channel map and I can't tell you how much I am in Nirvana right now.
More airfields required, but I am content at this stage. So familiar. So familiar.
If you haven't tried it, I think consideration of a download, IMHO, would be warranted for those that miss the old days of IL2 Cliffs and the fun we used to have over the channel.
I think this could happen again if ATAG was to take a look at this latest release by ED. Oh, and need I say more about the P-47 . . . . masterpiece!
Hopefully, new AI will appear to give us a real go at Channel conflicts. It needs all our participation and input to the devs for them to realize the potential of this map.
The damage model is coming!!
