Dawn patrol: A flight of Dornier 17's is obliterated.

In the dark, 4 Spitfire IIa's of the "Firebirds" - 56 (Fighter) Squadron RAF set out for an early morning patrol. When the sun is just rising above the horizon a flight of 5 enemy Dornier 17's is encountered over Dunkirk. These are dealt with swiftly after which the Spits return home just in time for breakfast. Great succes! :)
