Mission 4.
Scramble to intercept incoming raid of 6 Me110s.
What's with the Spit? Take off as normal, set pitch full fine and revs slowly climb to 2600rpm on takeoff, normal procedures on climb out - rads slightly closed, prop pitch back a bit, etc.
For some reason if you try and fly at anything higher than 2700 rpm the aircraft shakes like the engine is damaged.
All temps checked and within range, can't think of anything that is causing this to happen.
The mission is hard enough without having to fly at cruise settings.
Not sure what I could be doing wrong here.....:doh:
My Bad. Now sure of what I was doing wrong. Coolant temp at the start is low, needed a little time to warm up.
