Just found this excellent documentary from 1976 containing interviews from chaps involved in development of the Spitfire & Merlin.
Includes commentary from Johnnie Johnson, Douglas Bader, Robert Stanford Tuck and others.

I'm just watching it, it's very nostalgic seeing the presenter Raymond Burr, a Spitfire pilot himself. Contemporary Brits might agree that now I'm actually living in 'tomorrow's world', there's a couple of issues I'd like to have raised with him. :D

Yep, I found that one recently and enjoyed it very much.The first hand experience gives the documentary a lot of depth and detail must documentaries lack.
