I believe the HDR has been tweaked a bit in this patch as well, although a lot more tweaking is planned on being done. You are not the only fan of those gorgeous sunsets CLOD once had.

I think it's a step in the right direction. The golden hour looks a lot better. I noticed a very noticeable transition from the "day time lighting" to Night time lighting" in the new version. At around 20:02-20:03 there's a very noticeable transition. Try the high altitude mission. Every light source starts glowing immediately and looks like the overdone 'blinding" HDR effect of the sun disappears. While immediately after the abrupt transition at 20:02-20:03 the sun is a bit too strong, I think the colors look a lot better after 20:03 without the sun making everything darker. I also like how the skins look after 20:03PM.
