Anybody knows how to switch off the G50 engine? The fuel cock doesn't work and the magneto doesn't seem to have any effect...

There is no working fuel cock on G50, there never was as i remember. I hit escape and create a new plane. Or once you are on the ground you can hit ALT+F2 that will take you to external view and with that it will shutdown your engine (feature only of ATAG)

To my knowledge the ALT+F2 in ATAG server let you see the external BUT it disables the engine to avoid any smart tricks...

1) Put the aircraft in idle

2) Change the mixture to maximum lean

3) Apply full throttle.

Should stall out.

Well....in a mission offline......versus a group of not escorted Blenheims.....and heavy damaged.......but yes, I did it! :D

i kill spits and hurries all the time in the g50 and return home and land. (shhh dont tell them im not a hurricane)

I must say that now, with some practice, I too can manage the dogfight on a G50 against Hurricanes on veteran skill, in offline gaming. I return back home almost always and sometimes I shoot down one. The machine is very manoeuvrable, and I find that her greatest limit are the low rate of fire machine guns.

marcastel57, in the russian community of CLOD too there are admirers of G.50. Problem in magneto control buttons. My switching on/switching off of a magneto is set up at the "magneto-next" and "magneto-previous" commands. It works in an offline and in online. And on ATAG including. Try!
