I just dont get it... Im using the scripts menu and start a trigger but nothing happens when I play the game.

There is nothing in the spripts box.... do I have to enter programming text in the scripts box? why doesnt the trigger.... trigger anything?

After you set up your development environment (the first link) you might want to check out the example scripts in the file attached to this post: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=26523 (_all samples2.zip)

It has a minimalistic example of the custom tab menu. I haven't tried it yet, so I can't confirm it works. I was just searching for the same thing, just found it and wanted to share ;)

It's possible (in the single player game - needs a simple actual C# (I think) script for MP) to use triggers and actions without a script (that is, without the C# .cs file that can accompany your .mis file). But you have to make sure the trigger and the action have exactly the same name! Then they'll usually work. There's one type of trigger that doesn't work, I think. And I can't remember which one!

Anyway, welcome to the richly rewarding, even more richly frustrating world of CloD mission design. It's a labyrinth, but people are often willing to be helpful above and beyond the call of duty!
