It looks pretty good. The shadows look well done, and the cockpit seems to be well-detailed. I'll be interested to see what degree of CEM the aircraft will have, and, of course, how the FM & DM work out.

Thanks for posting this, Continu0.

I love the gun strapped in the cockpit! I'll just fly up to the enemy open up the cockpit and bang bang!! ... Ya I can't wait for my first fly by shooting :devilish:

Haha! I'll just watch for a Sale Day in the BoS store.....and maybe pick out a nice scarf, too! :D

It actually seems pretty good!

I am a huge fan of 777 Studios and Rise of Flight, and despite the differents some members of the ATAG community might have with BoS, I think that it will be a great sim to fly.

Hi Chuck_Owl,

Your phrasing is diplomatic. :D

I don't know whether some members of ATAG have a problem with BoS but ATAG itself certainly doesn't. There are those who are pessimistic about the project, me amongst them, but with such a small developer base for WW2 flight sims I think we all wish the project every success!

Personally, I think you're controversial. :-P

I think like most of us, we hate the politics/business behind it, but wish the project itself huge success. I know I'll be buying it, even though the Eastern Europe theatre isn't my first pick. We'll see what 2014 brings.

Simple truth here is that for me, all this started with flying a MiG-3 in the snow, trying to work out how to get up to that pesky FW-189 recon plane in time to shoot it down. This was a single mission in the original IL2, I think they made it much easier by the time '46 came out.

Just the degree of nostalgia involved will have me buying the product, and I won't be able to resist flying those sort of scenarios with more up to date graphics. I'll never forget the astonishment when I watched little figures running away from the line of tanks I was attacking in my Sturmovik either.

So regardless of business history, I won't be cutting my nose off to spite my face by not buying the thing. I just hope I'll be able to afford all the ordnance for my Sturmy. :D

The second I read that, I remembered the first time I tried that mission, despite not playing IL2 since 2004!

Well, my only hope for BoS is that there will be missions featuring the famous F.F.F. Normandie-Niemen squadrons. :)

I'm currently reading "The Big Show" and I can say that french pilots in the "Alsace" Squadron during the BoB were simply amazing.
