ACG launch 5./JG26 "Schlageter" - Recruiting English speaking Luftwaffe pilots

Dear All,

Air Combat Group are proud to announce that we have started up a new staffel, 5./JG26 "Schlageter", which is the sister staffel in II Gruppe for our already strong, German speaking 6./JG26 (also recruiting).

We are currently looking for pilots for the Bf109 to take on the Tommy squadrons of ACG (No.64, N.501 and No.615) in casual events and campaign. We're a relaxed lot interested in the history and immersion and are not concerned if you are a beginner in the 109 since training and guidance is there in abundance - you will soon be sending the Englander into the Kanal!

I dont think you would have a problem, Im from Puerto Rico and had not had any issues with lag or any other ping related problems. Add me on Steam, id is the same as here.Im more or less on your time zone and I also speak spanish :)

Pilots are like busses, none for ages and then a load at once. We had a long hard spell of nobody and are now delighted to have the new chaps on board. There is plenty of room though, this English speaking staffel is supported by a German speaking one in the same Gruppe, both of which are keen to hear from 109 flyers or anybody who wishes to start on the 109.

Did I mention the RAF? We also run an RAF faction and are proud to have the largest gathering of Hurricane pilots anywhere in COD with No.501 and No.615 squadrons, plus our gallant Spitfire squadron in support (No.64). Come on in, the water is lovely ;)

I have about a many hours of 109 time in IL2 series up to 1946, but haven't played in years and only just recently started playing CLOD, about 10 hours now and veryyy rusty.

You've come to the right place :).You would certainly find a few of our guys flying almost every day of the week at different times during the the day, specially on our international squadron(5./JG26) which is the English speaking one as we have pilots from Europe and the Americas.There is no requirements regarding skills or a certain amount of hours on the 109, as long as you are interested in team work ,having a good time and can join us at least once a week.I will be sending you a PM pretty soon:salute:

I might be interested. I flew with an online JG26 years ago on Kali with EAW and flew a lot in IL2 up to 46 but haven't flown that much lately. Do you guys have specific times that me meet to fly? I live on the west coast of the US and my time is intermittent. I do shift work at nights. Often I can make a squad night every other week simply because I work the other week (2 week schedule, alternating days off during the week).
