They just updated the DCS:World (ver 1.2.4.1279) which has had a few tweeks on the Huey flight model.
Getting into a hover in ground effect from the ground is substantially easier. Also the transition into Vortex ring state is different. According to the release notes this is more accurate.
Now I just have to concentrate on not killing myself on landing!
The good thing is now that I can take off in the Huey without feeling completle useless I might be able to get back into flying CoD! :)
