I'm going to create a new section just dedicated to all the SP stuff and would like all the links/download links to be able to put them all in one spot. Right now it's tough searching for them.

I have installed a few single mission addons successfully, but the Battle of France which would otherwise be the easiest of them to install so far, simply by pasting two folders into the root directory of COD, did not show as being added. I'm running TF 4.3xx, Win7 Ultimate 64x and disabled the anti-virus and the firewall in doing so.

If you refer to "Battle of France" from Airwarfare, is just a collection of single missions.

Extract the files inside (.RAR) folder "Single" - for:

...:\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover - MOD\missions\Single

Only the files BOF_01... Not the folder "Single".

And extract the folder screenshots for inside "missions\Single".
This time is need the folder because briefings look for slides inside this folder screenshots:

As far as I recall the installer copies all files in the standard cliffs directory: c/my documents/ 1c softclub/il-2../mission/desastersoft/dfc_moelders/ and /moelders_MOD/.

Grab both folders an copy them in the Il-2-sturmovik ...MOD - folder. The MOD-Folder has the the same structure as the original il2-folder. Copy the Moelders stuff at the same place. Do the same with the skins!

And: Make an update of the desastersoft auto updater. You will find the new one on the top of their homepage "Updater-Bugfix für alle Add-Ons". Install the update an run it.

Ok Henry, I'm afraid you may have to help out. I've downloaded the update tool, installed it, but where does it install to. The deastersoft folder has a "updater_dfc.exe" file in it but when I hit "run" it pop up window says, "updater has stopped working".

Any ideas?

I've copied the deastersoft folder to the Cliffs Mod folder and the campaign opens but............in the campaign details box on the opening screen of the campaign it says this:

Desastersoft install point for default Steam folder.

Look inside Documents\1c Soft...dover\mission\Campaigns\ are a folder "Desastersoft" that you need copy for

Documents\1c Soft...dover [b]- MOD[b]\mission -\Campaigns\

If you use a custom folder for run TF MOD (besides the default STEAM path) is need copy the folder "desastersoft" inside SteamApps...dover\parts\ for the same folder in custom install for TF MOD.

I notice inside the "DFC_Moelders_de" and the "DFC_Moelders_MOD_de" inside the desastersoft folders in the "my documents" file path that both folders are empty, is this correct?

My original "il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover" folder is in "Steam Apps - common" where it was originally installed, all other downloaded campaigns such "spitfire on my tail" etc work just fine.

I can replicate your problem. What happen is, FMW_0xx.mis is campaign mission files...

Inside the folder "...Steam\SteamApps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover\parts\desastersoft\mission\campaign\DFC_Moel ders_de or MOD_de
are only files numbered from FMW_001.mis to FMW_019.mis.

Looks that the install missing some files...

Workaround provisory:

Inside the above folder (in MOD game) copy the files:

FMW_019.mis
FMW_019.cs
FMW_019.briefing

Past 5 times, then rename FMW_020.mis, 020.cs, 020.briefing up to 24.

Now the campaign start - and last until mission 19 and became reply this... :D

Modify the file "campaign.ini" (in Documents\1c Soft...) removing the reference to missions 20-24 dont work, Desastersoft use three custom .dll that probable have reference for the files needed on campaign.

Perhaps someone that have this campaign installed correct can upload the missing 20-24 files.

Try:

Run - in Start menu > All programs > Desastersoft

"Fliegerasse - Werner Mölders updaten"

This update will download the missing mission files:

But if you run the Updater* ("Fliegerasse - Werner Mölders updaten") the missing missions (20 - 24) are downloaded. :thumbsup:

I think that some sub-missions are included in the update for generate events in main missions.

* or download the attached file with this misions and extract in your MOD game folder, overwriting the renamed ones.

I've copied your missions 20 - 24, my updater still does not work, I get a "windows has stopped working" message each time I run it, no to worry though, i now have all 24 missions so I'm very pleased.

To hone my skills, and also because I can't do much, if at all, online (I am in NZ), I hve been looking for some immersive single player, so the list was a welcome find.

Only problem is, and it almost looks like a practical joke _ i consistently land on that page http://www.lalalaa.com/ when trying to get to the Airwarfare Website. Tried from my phone today and it did go to the Airwarfare website, so i am q bit confused.

Any of you guys experienced this?
