People should realize these are Work in Progress, the new maps are not finalized yet.

There are some issues which we are still fixing.

great shots Bliss. just as Buzzaw said its still WIP but just imo in the winter there should be no yellow fields on the ground. i think it wpuld look better if those were replaced by brown fields... and maybe the green fields should have less green in them ..anyway they still look superb!!!

The pics are stunning and the shadowing at the higher altitude makes it look like a photo! But, in winter surely the trees would not have leaves at all? UK countryside is a pretty bleak please in midwinter

Yup. We never get snow when the leaves are green. The Autumn leaf colur we've seen in some screenies would be ok though, but bare trees would be better. Snow in late Oct/early Nov is rare, but does happen. No idea if it happened in 1940/41 though. :D

I've absolutely no idea if it snowed or not, but I think the maps looks gorgeous and will certainly add some variety!
