How do you know it was on purpose? (Serious question)

And were you guys squabbling with each other earlier (provoking each other). I've seen Hetti on the server quite a few times. I just find it strange someone would deliberately team kill unless there was something more going on.

Edit: I just sent a message via the server admin chat. Hopefully the team killing will stop.

It was on purpose because he told me so. And He killed me because I was vulching a Hurricane at Oye Plage and he doesn' t like vulchers. I didn' t speak to him before that nor did he. And I got a lot of witnesses. After that he was VERY offensive on the chat.
I' m not the kind of guy tht look for problems in games but I play by the rules and I expect others to do so. Especially in a simulator.

EDIT: just look at the chat history if you can everything is in there

Thank you - I will look at it.

Btw - I spoke in admin chat a bit. Lets hope the situation is resolved.

Vulching is allowed, and that's exactly why there are always airfields you can take off from away from it :D (as you probably know)!

You dont think ElGringo that killing the game for others for your vulching?

Terribly boring now that instead, of the dogfighting to win it, but rather be shot me on the ground. Too many bloodsteve.

It was not long ago recognized(IL2 1946), it was a shame, and was banned on the servers.

Im really hate vulchers, I completely agree Hetti. It was not for you personally, just in general for the vulchers.

See... And BTW I don' t need your respect nor do I look for it.

Vulching is allowed for a reason on this server. To make airfields close from the frontline more dangerous to take off from. But I guess you guys are not elaborate enough to understand that.
Even if you don' t, respect the server rules. Vulching is allowed, teamkilling is not.
I think it deserves a ban but oh well...

Guys,

1st of all this is a game about war. If you're on one side you're sole responsibility is to disable the other teams resources so they can't win. Whether it be by air, by ground, by bullet, by bomb, taking out planes, supplies, objectives, helps your team win. Vulching was part of the real war, and it most definitely will be part of this game. Vulching can easily be thwarted off by spawning else where. There is not a mission on the server that doesn't have plenty of airfields away from the front lines so you will not be attacked. So I would hardly call the rules shit. I'd call them accurate. If you wish to convey chivalry, then by all means do so. But if someone does not, that's part of the game.

Think of it another way and you'll probably change your tone. Lets say vulching is not allowed. Who is going to admin this rule? Who is going to spend 4 hours a day looking at tracks, server logs, listen to complaints, respond to accusations etc.? Would any of you like to do it?

Because I don't have enough time to fly as it is, I definitely don't have hours to spend babysitting either. This is one of the ONLY rule breaking posts the server has ever seen. Again, vulching is easily avoided. When you join a dogfight server in progress, think about what is going on, how many people are on the server, talk with people on TS to know how tactically one side sits compared to the other, prepare yourself for anything. But if you are spawning in on the front lines, especially now that those same front line bases are objectives in missions, it's your fault you are getting vulched. You can avoid it.

Think about it.

And btw it wasn' t even those guys I vulched since they were on MY team.
Who do they think they are?

Sorry for the inconvenience Bliss.

Ok guys, calm down a bit; this is just a game afterall and we're a small community.

While I agree that vulching is the kind of thing that can earn you a stigma, it is allowed on the server. Pilots that have respect for their fellow mates usually avoid this practice, but again; it is allowed.

Hetti, I understand your frustration but your energy is better spent shooting down the enemy's vulchers than a teammate.

Everyone take a deep breath, man up, and carry on.

"it's your fault you are getting vulched" its a joke
its like sex you need two human and get a sweet hour ore you can rape.....

i have an idea: lets start a voting to let vulching allowed or not

Keller we' ve flown together a little and you know me. I take what happens on server as real war. And it was done in real war. I agree I am not chivalrous at all and I don' t care. I see an enemy plane, I shoot him. If it wasn' t allowed, I wouldn' t do it. But it is. There is videos of people bombing player planes on the ground on this forum btw...

And I don' t complain when I get vulched.

But it is: Spawn at a different airfield, get altitude, get the advantage, and go shoot down the people raiding an airfield. Again, the only reason one gets shot at sitting on the ground is because they took the chance by spawning at an airfield that is close to the front lines. You can easily choose elsewhere. Some people like trying to avoid it. Some people live to spawn in an airfield under attack.. But if you are upset about it, simply spawn elsewhere. Problem solved.

Chivalry was for WW1... Not for ww2

This is exactly it. I think of the enemy as just that, the enemy. But there are also times when I've let people go.

But regardless, vulching still boils down to how tactically a player players, how well they coordinate and fly CAP, and most importantly, where they decide to spawn from. It is easily avoidable, and is also easily unavoidable in the same sentence. Sometimes I want to spawn at an airfield getting raided. The raiders are bound to run out of ammo soon enough. And that's when the favor is returned in full force :D

i fly sims more than 20 years and fly online about 15 years and who you are Gringo?

Peace

Aug-18-2013, 19:57
I' m a noob. And your 20 years don' t mean you are above the rules. Can you get that or is it above your level of understanding Hetti?
BTW I thought 20 years playing sims might have improved your english a little.

Ok - That's enough. Take it out on the battle field folks.

But remember - Vulching is allowed. Teamkilling is not.

From a PM from RAF74_Buzzsaw about vulching. To put vulching into perspective:

Salute

The Luftwaffe succeeded in the Battle of France in a large part because they were such good 'Vulchers'.

The RAF had almost more fighters killed on the ground than in the air.

In the BoB, the Luftwaffe tried to do the same thing, and succeeded in forcing the RAF to evacuated the coast fields like Manston and Ramsgate, the RAF only used them as temporary refueling fields after the first few weeks of August.

The Luftwaffe had designated airfield attack units, specialist 109, 110 and Dornier 17 units which would come in low and try to the surprise the defenders. After a while they got punished so badly they stopped the tactic.

If you don't want to be vulched, start at a field further inland. You need to climb to altitude anyway. (at least, anyone with any tactical sense will climb)

On the other hand, Team Killing is totally unacceptable from my perspective and has no place in online play.
