Will we see similar attention paid to damage models and weapons ballistics?

The CloD system/ complexity is simply mind boggling. I'd hate to see amazing flight models (which only gets you to "aviation simulator") not matched by equivalent damage models and weapons ballistics (ballistic-arcs, gravity effects, force of impact, explosive pressure modelling)......

The internal damage models are already super detailed, what DCS is lacking right now is detailed visual damage models.From what I read at ED forums it is very high on the priority list to get the visual DM to the same level as the internal(parts and systems).

After you go through a fight you can see a list of all the bullets that hit your plane and exactly what damage they did. It's insane the level of detail it goes down to. I haven't seen the inner workings of CloD so can't compare exactly but there seems to be more internal systems damage options in DCS. The visual DM model in CloD is a lot nicer though.

After you go through a fight you can see a list of all the bullets that hit your plane and exactly what damage they did.

You can do that in CoD too... just not implemented at the moment.
