I wanted to share a great little app that is excellent at monitoring everything hardware related. Open Hardware Monitor. http://openhardwaremonitor.org/

I learnt of it from the DCS forums and have used it to assess DCS & CloD, it tells you in black & white (well actually multicoloured) if you need to reduce setting or upgrade hardware. Never upgrade without using this 1st.. should be your rule!

Monitor the GPU & core loads & RAM as a minimum.. or a 100 other options.

Here is a screenshot of it monitoring CloD using a basic setup.. you can set dual scales and many other useful features.

it is great for tweaking your settings to match your hardware.

Thanks for posting this MadTommy. I am finding it a very useful tool. It seems to cause no problems and I have now sacked MSI Afterburner, which can clash with injected AA.

I especially like the gadget, which can be adjusted to sit nicely and unobtrusively in game too.

Cheers,

Septic.

I too found it an excellent little tool. I found I had to be in pseudo window mode for the gadget to sit on top. Is that right?

It showed my system barely breaks sweat even over London in heavy cloud attacking bombers except for the GPU memory which was completely maxed out. Not suprising as I have a GT560ti with only 1 Gig so I know what my next upgrade will be.

Thanks for heads up.
