what have you done!

The wings are made of paper mash and fall off in tight turns!
before patch level flight with minimal roll was possible. now it just wants to roll over however much rudder trim set.
ON take off it wants to roll to the left and nose in
it GETS knocked down with ease now a small burst and its done
The auto pilot is a joke. it was better with out it ffs!
the rear gunners position has always been a mess! why has no one ever thought to fix this! massive g's at 5m/s climb pffft. that would be soon be fixed if the fighter jocks couldn't fire at the same climb rate!
If you manage to get a tight turn in it throws itself on to it's roof and noses in if you attempt to reverse it! before patch this could be done!

Now i Know this game was/is made for fighter jocks, but if your gonna put the bombers in. Make it so they have at least a nominal chance.

some other suggestions i'd like to see fixed. would be fire extinguishers that work and a feathered prop actually stop windmilling.

An before any of you fighter jocks start screaming about the gunners pulling g's. The g forces being applied to a gunner at 5 m/s climb is about 1.5 g's in real life. An remember 1g is being exerted in level flight.
Ingame thus 0.5 g renders a gunner useless. now is that a level playing field?

I'm a bomber Blenheim pilot and think it's fine. Level flight is possible as well. Auto pilot didn't exist before, so I'm not sure what your talking about.

I was able to bomb from 10,000 ft and get direct hit with proper setup of auto pilot. This was simply added to simulate where you normally would have a human pilot, it's not 1946 level flight magic button.

This is all community done in people's spare time. How about a simple thanks for giving what was never expect to be given that is a great patch that has really progressed this game.

I think some people here need to wake up to this reality, the coders here are all volunteers, and nothing, absolutely nothing here is deserved.

... to add... there is no 'level playing field' - get on TS and request escort - you'll never survive against a 109 alone.

Really are we playing the same game. I've managed to get 250mph in speed constantly where as before it would be 240mph sometimes. You no longer need to warm up just start your engines and scramble, and I can do loops and rolls as well without losing a wing or damaging it. As for the back gunner I agree with you 100% that really needs to be fixed. The DM I haven't really noticed a change in but then again I have only been attacked in a Blenheim once or twice so I might need more time with that one. as for everything else I love it.

If you want any kind of response to your post, I would recommend renaming the title. The gentlemen you need to speak to for an explanation have been on a very short fuse lately due to similar disrespectful comment.

Salute

I would recommend you might think about the way you phrase your comments, you might get a better response. In addition, if you are more specific about exactly what you perceive as the problem area, ie. > "...aircraft has a tendency to roll right at 200 mph IAS" that can also allow us to identify the exact areas we might need to examine.

Regarding what your outburst seemed to center on:

The Blenheim's wings were reduced in strength, they were too strong, this was a very lightly built aircraft, comparable to a Me-110 in weight with larger dimensions. The engines and engine mounts have been considerably strengthened to more realistic levels, they will take more damage and will not fall off nearly as easily.

The rear gunner issue is one which affects all bombers, we intend to find a solution for this in TF 5.0.

The speeds are higher than in TF 3.01, this has been tested extensively, you can also use +9 boost without misfiring, unlike TF 3.01. (are you using +9 boost?)

The aircraft's maneuverability is the same as previously, the aileron trim has been changed at the request of dedicated Blenheim pilots to provide more stability in level flight and to enable level bombing from altitude even without the autopilot. Those same pilots report they can use the autopilot and bombsight without difficulty. I would suggest you read the instructions on the wiki page for using the autopilot under the German bomber manuals.

We will do some testing prior to TF 4.01, as we always do, if there are any real issues identified, they will be corrected.

Hi Coldsrteamer,

I believe I know you a little from teamspeak and you seem a good chap. So I suspect you might have misunderstood what Team Fusion is? It's all voluntary old chap, no one has to do anything, none of them have to spend one more minute working to make this game more playable for us all. Sadly, this could happen and posts like yours make that a more likely reality.
Your "Blennie" btw, is the one modelled in the Steam version of the game. :)

Cheers,

Septic.:salute:

I didn't notice a great difference with pre-patch Blenheim, apart the autopilot, of course. Maybe now the engine temperature management is better than before.
