Well This is sort of a challenge for me. AS was flying the Gotha on Rise of Flight. I've hunted through the Youtube videos for how to on the 110 but found very little. I have managed to get this beast off the ground on several occassioons with yesterday being my longist, if still short, flight.

I'm obviosly over working the engines and causeing them to seize up. So my question is, what is the Pre-Flight checklist for the 110 AND what might I do to keep her airborn?

This is what I do with the caveat that I'm probably doing it wrong:

1.) prop pitch to 12
2.) coolant rads to 60%
3.) oil rads to %60
4.) engine #1 fire
5.) engine #2 fire
6.) select all engines and go!

The biggest thing I've found is keeping ata under 1.2 (i think that's the right number) So I control RPM's mainly with prop pitch - never really going over 90% unless I have to (I do the same for the 109 as well). This seems to work well for me as I can fly around for hours like this.

Hopefully Trumps can chime in as he flies the 110 quite a bunch.

Heya, I run much the same rad, and cooler settings as Bliss, I usually take off with 1/3 flap (always take a couple of 500kg bombs with me) I usually just run the throttles at 100% and using prop pitch keep rpms at about 2350/2400. Runs fine like this and is good for about 430kph @ sea level. she is a cracker, we need more 110 strike pilots!

Thx Bliss & Trump for this insight ..... looking forward to trying this.

Also, depending on how much fuel you bring, you'll want to check which tanks have gas in them. There's a switch, between the water radiator switches, to control which fuel tank is displayed on the gauge. Cycle through all the positions and remember which ones have fuel (front left, front right, rear right, rear left) and cycle your fuel toggle (right armrest) to reset it to front left (which appears to be the first tank they fill up).

Good point mate, I have never needed more than 400kg of fuel, that is more than enough for a good prolonged sortie over England, just remember to switch tanks before the engines start spluttering, gets real busy swapping tanks when you only fly at 50m altitude and the thing turns into a glider ;)

Also try climbing at higher speeds. Higher speeds will ram more air over your rad and oil.

60% water rad and 30% oil rad for cruise climb etc. Never really drop my throttle to below 80% or 1.3ATA. I keep my RPM to around >2100. She will get going and stay going as long as you don't let her drop to below 300kmh. She doesnt gain speed all that well.

Never take more than 55% fuel until the 110's fuel tanks are fixed. Also, see the attached image to understand the limits of the BF-110.
