Just spent the last 2hrs flying this 109 and I must say I do like it:thumbsup: but I don't like this exaggerated cockpit shake I hope they address that during the testing period.

Great shots Furbs!

It's not cockpit shake, it's just the canope. Big hp with a side hinge canope, you're gonna have some shake at certain power settings, some more than others.
Think immersion.

The second to last picture looks great. Was that done just with head tracking?

Yes Roy, done with my TrackIR, me holding myself at a weird angle and my Mrs looking at me funny. :)

Haven't seen the level of shaking yet but the human eye can handle shaking / vibrations in real life far better than when it's simulated on screen for a flight simulator. On screen it just tends to make quite a few people feel ill after a while. That's why sims like the Huey on DCS don't have the flight panel, etc. vibrating all the time like they do in real life as default. They just have it a bit during the initial warm-up for immersion. Would hope that BOS go down this route and at least offer the user the choice.

Yea have to agree... they have it modelled right from what I believe though as you say the human eye wouldn't notice that as much as were seeing in game..

I'm no expert mind but I'm pretty sure that is a bit strong to the Mk 1 eyeball.

That's true Ron/Fritzi and it's because when it is simulated, it is only our eye that is "feeling" it and not the rest of our body.

When the whole body experiences the same effect, our inner ear and other peripheral systems somehow make it more tolerable. It might take a while to get used to for some, same as going under the hood in instrument training.

Certainly looks nice

Took it out for a spin. This is not edited barely at-all. Just a rough and ready "this is what you get" footage of the 109. Close-ups included of the instrument panels too:
