Hi all

I believe that the "simulator" takes the wrong speed on the file ".mis" . Logically, the speed of the file should be a TAS speed, as IL21946' .mis , but Cliff uses the mis speed as an IAS.
This is why in the games, players (escort) miss the appointment with the bombers..

By exemple, when we ask 300km/h at 6000m, the bombers fly in réality (simulator) at 300km/h IAS, also at 418km/h TAS..... you see a bug? ;) A difference of 118km/h

And it seems to me that it's like that for all the aircrafts if it does not exceed the maximum possible speed ...

I asked 300 km/h (TAS), so it should fly at ~ 220km/h(IAS) at 6000m, rather than 300 km/h (IAS) ....

maybe it is more logical to you. I suspect most players look at the ASI and that's the number they use.
Also, obviously it was not more logical to Ilya and Co

However, let's assume TF changes this to how you would like it, what happens then?- every mission built so far that uses AI is likely to 'not work as intended'.

If TF modifies it , actually , it can influence on missions with AI , imagining that the designers had conciense mission of this bug and had " fine " set speeds ....

However , one can imagine some solutions to overcome this "step"

- Provide an opportunity to the player via a switch to select the type of speed that he prefers to use when loading a mission

- Place a tag in the ". mis" file, in the design of the mission,
