I can't join server

This evening, i try to join atagg server...

But i can't do it and receive this message:
"Server Fail Authentification"

I don't understand what it happen...

Hi Teddevo,

The problem is steam still thinks you are on the server. To help avoid the issue in the future, make sure to wait a few minutes before the server restarts again to join. And make sure NEVER to cancel the connection to the server while joining.

I just asked all the folks on the server if it was ok for a restart, and everyone said it was fine.

You should be able to join in a couple minutes. :thumbsup:

This happened to me this past weekend and it's possible that I have found a solution. The only thing that keeps me a little bit skeptical is the fact that the server changed missions just as I was attempting this fix.

If you get the Server Fail Authentication error, try deleting your clientregistry.blob from your Steam folder while Steam is shut down, then reconnect to Steam. It will download/create a new file as you connect and you should be able to get back into the server.

Give it a try.
