Jesus, no wonder you guys are such good pilots! I have one 24" monitor, TrackIR5, and a beat up old MS Precision 2 Joystick. Call me old school, but I can't see myself using an offset stick like you guys do, mine has to be front and center.

Well, everything in the E4 is pretty much automatic anyway, isn't it?

JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!! LOL

I figure the more peripherals I add, the higher my kill ratio will get. I applied the same logic to my golf equipment, but even with seven different wedges I still can't break 90! :sad!:

I have to agree with Keller,I only have a MS FF2 with saitek throttle,no pedals but track ir5(must have).

Nah Keller.. Flying with a whole HOTAS setup just makes you lazy. You can fly around and sip on Bourbon without much care in the world lol!

It took a bit of getting used to, the side panels are slightly distorted. But seeing how the Obutto was a gift from my girlfriend I do have to suffer through using it...;)

Nothin fancy really.

Note custom designed eyelevel monitor support (subwoofer).

PC used to be a Dell xps 8000 but I added a better power supply and a gtx570, so it's an i7 @ 2.8ghz with 6 gigs ddr3 ram. Runs the game fine.

Cupboard to the left usually supports a 12 pack of John Smiths Bitter rather than two hats and a box.

HOTAS is a G940. Guitar is a knackered old Tanglewood that I've had for 25 years. It's falling apart but I love it.

I'm trying to make up for my aging reflexes with better equipment:

i7 980, 12 gigs memory, 1200 watt power supply, GTX 480, 3 19" displays, TIR, CH Combat stick, rudder pedals and quadrant. The iPad instrument panel is a screenshot of a work in progress someone is whipping together for IL-2 46.

:dthumb:Nice set up!!! I like the dictionary for a base for the keyboard (helps with spelling in the chat bar I am sure ;) ) and that has to be the cutest co-pilot I've seen on these boards yet!!! :happy

Fantastic. I would be interested in your tubing dimensions, number of bends and overall specs so one could cut and glue this together. Would go towards finishing your project if you know what I am saying. I would be delighted with just that.

I have seen this DIY plans for something similar. Is this it?
