Evening all,

I'm currently playing the stock RAF BoB campaign in Cliffs of Dover. Call me a pedant, but it's a little bit spoiled for me by the between mission narration/story line. It's neither historically or culturally accurate - none of it is written in British-English of the period. Is there a way that an enthusiastic amature such as myself can modify the necessary files to rewrite much of the story line? I'd be happy to lend a hand with a rewrite for any upcoming TF mod which may cover that part of the game.

I suggest the Redux campaign. The official one seems to be a bit buggy.

The new version of the main campaign is much better. However, there is still slight thing for future development. The main runway at Tangmere should be concrete not grass. I live quite near what is left of the areodrome which is now host to an excellent little museum. http://www.tangmere-museum.org.uk/

There are people in team fusion working to correct historical landmarks, perhaps you could volunteer to join them? In BOBII dev group we had a couple of people who were very conscientious about correcting airfield layouts to match historical records for building type, layout, airfield orientation and even tree lines and individual tree placements. I remember a long thread about an oak tree (which was famous in pilot reports from pilots who had near misses with it) in which it was much debated if it was too high, too short, in the right place (down to a couple of feet margin of error) and even the right colour!

These guys worked patiently for years to get every single airfield on the map as accurate as possible, it was great work and really helped with the sense of immersion.
