Yes, the scheme was used with the mk II. To use them just put the skins in the mk II folder.

I think the colour change has more to do with date than aircraft type. I'm not sure though, just going by what I have read (here for example http://www.ww2aircraft.net/forum/aviation/spitfire-color-changes-35866.html). It's a complicated subject though. I just noticed a quote stating that after 14th January 1941 the B scheme was abandoned on new production aircraft (from the PDF in the link above; available if you register for free) though this seems odd to me. Comments on this are welcome.
