Hi All

so I was flying the autumn map tonight - Dunkirk. About 30 minutes in I get this weird interruption sound, like the game is about to crash, the last 250ms of audio kept looping for 5 seconds. But then everything was fine all of a sudden I was playing smoothly again. This happened about 4 times and then the 5th there was no audio and game crashed!.. Now I only had the game crash once before and it was on the same map. Other maps are ok, I generally don't have problems with the game, it usually never crashes....

-The Rig is not overclocked
-Memory is fine, it's running within specs

Event viewer is giving me 2 critical events:

a .NET Runtime event

Could this be because of the map?
Could this be because of the recent net framework update?

If anybody could help it would much appreciated. I realize I didn't post full specs etc. yet, but I'm hoping somebody out there will recognize this issue.

many thanks!

That sounds like a Directx Issue.
Make sure you don't have the dreaded windows update try disabling sweetfx etc if you are using it.

Hi Colander,

I've opted out of KB2670838 & KB2830477, I do have sweetFX but it never caused any problems, I'm using it for a bit of antialising, I can switch it off but then what am i to do about the AA...?

thanks!
