There is plenty of code available for mission makers to fix spawn points. It takes some testing (which no-one playing this game even seems to be interested in helping with.... cough, cough) but it can be done.

What sort of testing Phil and are special skills required - e.g. such as scripting?

All it needs is plenty of people who can jump in the server/ mission and spawn in.
We just spawn in as many as we can until that spawn point breaks. We re-make the spawn point and try again. Once we're confident that 20 or so people can spawn in, we consider the point "fixed". Obviously, you need around 20 people for this.... And it's damned boring/ repetitious....
