Finally had a chance for a fly around in Spit IIa. Lovely. I then realised that the engine temperature does not seem to vary no matter what I do to the radiator and boost levels. Tried with axis control and keys and auto rad on/off. There does not seem to be an indication of whether rad is open or closed. I then tried sitting on the ground with the engine running and radiator closed. Half an hour later still no change in temperature at all.
