Hi Gents

I mentioned my idea for the 2nd Hot Lap challenge in the other thread and as no one objected we may as well run with that...

We only ended up with three competitors last round so hopefully we get some more forum members joining in. If anyone has a preference for a car/track combo for a later challenge, please let me know.

For new participants, all you need do is add me as a friend in steam, do some laps in the 'hot lap" mode of the game so that your best lap is recorded in the friends leaderboard app. To see anyone else's best time, you must have them added as a steam friend also. Setup your car however you like and any/all driving aids are allowed as it is only a friendly challenge ... just let us know of any assists used as a courtesy.

Haven't had much time this week so my early times were just familiarisation laps ... I've knocked off about 9 and a half seconds just now though. Fiddled with tyres and gears so far (reduced fuel load as well) but still well off the WR time.

Due to lack of interest, I wont be posting any more challenges for a while. I think I will just go join the weekly challenge over at the AC forums. Aus3620 and I are going to have a week running the BMW E30 around Silverstone in an unofficial challenge between us so if anyone one want to join in, feel free to add me as a Steam friend.

Once multiplayer races are available in AC, I'll try again to gauge interest amongst the ATAG community.

Not having had a go at racing sims for many years and my old steering wheel just did'nt workout, anyway I'm looking forward to putting in some nice times and hope to race online if there's a server here in australia when this goes to multiplayer ,Being at close quarters i'm guessing you'll need a very good ping which rules out overseas. I will take you up on your offer and add you as a steam friend ,In real life I have driven the F5000 Lola amongst other hardtops and was very impressed the way these sim's have matured compared to years past .
