Hunter Valley Airshow Day 1
Hi All,
Massive day today. Thousand of attendees, all who would have seen our sign as we are near the entrance.
Lost count of the number s of people who checked out Cliffs, and importantly had a go of either Torian or my rigs.
Cybermat joined us again this year which was brilliant.
Day two tomorrow which is expected to be bigger than today.
Pattle :salute

Re: Hunter Valley Airshow Day 1
Nice one chaps
Seems like you've got the perfect day for it, but I guess the weather is always like that in Aus right?
Wishing you all the best for day 2, hopefully you will get plenty of interest in Cliffs :salute:

Knighty, Torian is a tall young fella! :)
Re: Hunter Valley Airshow Day 1
Looks like good fun... always a blast to get out in the sunshine with the old warbirds.
Re: Hunter Valley Airshow Day 1
Fantastic pics, Pats. Looks like an excellent setup and location for your booth. Would love to hear some comments from the folks you sat down to try Cliffs!
Re: Hunter Valley Airshow Day 1
Flippin' eck! Of course NSW gets the real warbirds ;P
Still not been to an airshow with genuine full scale warbirds yet believe it or not haha!
Good "show" though, I say!
Re: Hunter Valley Airshow Day 1
:recon:once in a while ....I think my grandfather chose the wrong colony....
Re: Hunter Valley Airshow Day 1
Well done, Pat! Fantastic flying of the CLoD Flag!
Somehow, I missed this thread first time around but it was all the better for the wait. Loved the photo of the little P40 with the aircraft in the background. And the weather!!!!!
Note to self: don't cross Oz off the bucket list yet! Salute!
Re: Hunter Valley Airshow Day 1
My Grandfather chose this colony, it was chosen out of South Africa, Canada and Australia. I think it was a pretty good choice :P
We clearly just moved to the wrong state :-P
Re: Hunter Valley Airshow Day 1
Marlow, 'loitering with intent' at Brisbane airport definitely doesn't count as seeing Aus unfortunately.
Come and hang out with the cool kids at Dunbogan.
Where else can you walk 400 metres down the road and see a great white swimming past close to shore.
Sun, surf, deadly man eating sharks and scarier deadlier snakes. The great southern land :-)
Book ya holiday now gents!
