Cobalt Blue 2006 Street Bob stage III 95 cid Fun Bike.

Jade Pearl Green 2015 Street Glide Special 103 cid modded a bit.
58mm Throttle Body W/ Ventilator air cleaner. SE-204 Cam; Has a really nice lope to it.
CNC ported heads w/ compression release.
Vance & Hines Power-Dual header pipes. CFR (Cary Faas Racing) Slip-on mufflers. Big City Thunder QQ Thunder Monster Baffles.
Screaming Eagle Pro Super Tuner installed (don't think this one is available anymore), used to tune engine on Dyno.
This thing sounds like a beast, sounds bigger than it is and fun to ride. Get looks, nods and complements all the time.
Great power band and plenty of torque especially thru the mid-range. Thunder Glide I call it.
Put some Rigid LED Lighting on it as well to spot stuff before hitting it. Sunlight light at night : )

Tire was caught just in time last summer 14,800 miles on it (Street Glide). Rode 550 miles the day before and had it pegged at times. Almost loaded my shorts when I saw it the next morning. Could of ended badly.

What sort of condition did you get those things in and did you restore them yourself? And the expansion pipe on the 370?

    Hi Vlerkies
The 1975 (red/yellow bikes) are not restored. One has 1050 miles on the odo and the other has just 345 mi. They both have their original Pirelli tires and the one with 345 mi on the clock still has the nibs on them. Both have nice original chrome fenders. The blue 1978 Mk11s I restored. The 370 in the pair has an aftermarket pipe, but I do have an original pipe in good shape and will swap it someday. The Mk11's were both in well ridden condition when I got them and took a lot of part hunting to get them back to reasonable original. I also have 6 Pursangs to restore. One is a match to the first Bul I got as a kid (see picture above) and in very good shape -only 35 bikes separate this one from the one I had as a kid in serial numbers. Probably came over in the same shipment. I'm kinda obsessed with them. I guess that's why we've always been called "Bul Freaks".

    My first bike

    '98 GSXR 750, bought in 2004

And for the past 11 (almost 12) years, this is my weapon of choice

Both are daily drivers (almost 55K on the odo of the '06), I'm the only one that arrives at work everyday with a smile on my face (which fades the moment I turn off the ignition )

    Good man Skud!

You have a wonderful collection there and with the associated serial number and sentimental history, priceless to you no doubt.
We also have a pretty strong VMX (vintage moto-x for you uninlightened beings ) here in South Africa. Always great to go out and see the bikes, some of them immaculately restored and ridden and raced on the day. Havent seen many Bultaocs to be honest this side of the pond.
Apart from the std jap bikes Maico was a really big name, if you could hang on to them long enough past the holeshot or first corner.

    Thanks for sharing your bikes.

The Guzzi founders came out of World War I aviation as did BMW. My first one was a 1974 850T and last one 2006 Breva 750.

My first 4 cylinder bike. XJ650 (complete slug don't ever get one). Pretty much impossible to wheel stand, which rendered it completely useless to me at that time. Pictured here on my way from Melbourne to Cairns to impress a girl. Young and stupid? Yep!xs650j.jpg

No really, that thing was like a top case, I was always riding around with these things in it
    -Lunchbox
-Chain grease spray can (a big one)
    -Disc lock
    -tirepressure gauge

It's actually quite insulting that even my k6 also has more stowage capability than most naked/touring bikes

Oh man I want to go fast on a track.

I had to sell my bike before I got a chance to take it to a track.

Riding the track is absolutely great! Makes normal riding on publics roads boring, wel unless you have some amazing scenery (which we don't here in NL). I got this bike quite cheap, as it is a mixture of a 748 and 998. Doing the maintenance yourself also saves quite some money, but tires still require some substantial amount of funding...

Also had a great '88 KX125, pimped out with Tuff racing NEON orange seat, shrouds + fenders lol. Gotta love the 90's.

You guys have GREAT bikes! Keep the pics coming in, happy for all of you and very jealous

Too bad they are killing track riding in the Netherlands
I didn't need to dampen any noise on the public roads, but on Assen, I had to make sure I didn't pass the DB limit of 95(!) by fitting the OEM slip on and putting isolation around my airbox and an MWR filter in
(An M4 Shorty and Velocity intake stacks don't help )

    Re: Show Us Your Bike(s)

Most of my bike pics are on old prints and packed away, but here a couple shots of the 'newer' ones on digital.

Below is the first of my ZX11's... the '91... but it was re-painted in the original markings without decals, with Cherry red instead of the pink of the decals... and I left out the 'Ninja'.

Here is a bike which could not be more different than a ZX11... the Royal Enfield I bought in India when I did a 3 month tour around the country. Only 350 cc's, and with a top speed of 110 kmh compared to the ZX's 1052 cc, and 280 kmh top speed, but in India the roads are not built for high speed, and most of the time I was at 70-80 kmh... driving much faster would put your life at risk... there the biggest vehicle has the right of way and I had to take emergency trips to the ditch or the verges dozens of times to avoid a dumptruck or bus whose driver decided he liked my side of the road better. Not to mention all the cows/dogs/etc. One twilight evening I barely missed what I am fairly certain was a King Cobra zipping across the road... Paid approx. $700 US, put another $400 US into upgrading it so it would be up to scratch mechanically and safety wise, and then sold it again when I finished for $800.

Couple Indian dudes who I joined up with for a portion of my trip... also on Enfields.

One way to get across a river... we had to load our bikes into these little cockle boats... they would take two smaller 100 cc bikes or one Enfield per trip.

Up at 4000 meters in the foothills of the Himalayas... I wanted to go to Nepal and the high Himalayas as well, but ran out of time, and also my Indian insurance for the Enfield was no good in Nepal and buying a bike there would be a big hassle.

Here is my second ZX-11, a '97, looking a little worse for the wear. After surviving the crazy Indian drivers I came back to Canada just in time to be a victim of a guy in an SUV who was on his cellphone. Came across the center line and tried to add me as a bumper ornament. I just managed to avoid a head on, but he clipped my back muffler and put me into a high speed wobble, I was ejected and suffered 5 broken ribs, a collar bone in pieces, a concussion and lots of road rash. The ZX-11 had to be written off unfortunately... it only had 12,000 km on it.

Partly because of the accident, I decided to switch to a smaller bike... if I was in lighter, quicker turning bike I might have been able to avoid the idiot who hit me completely. So I switched to a Yamaha YZF600R... which is a good touring bike, but quite a bit lighter, also with better brakes. Still will do 250 kmh and keeps up nicely. Also very comfortable touring and will deliver 60 mpg. It's a little oldstyle, but I like the look of the full fairing types. Only has 15,000 km.
