Help! Newbie here!

Hi Guys,

I am having a hard time to use the map and to find specific locations in the map.
I normally start flying and I connect to teamspeak and I hear a lot of action, but I look around and I don't actually find anything

Besides that, I learned how to set the giro and the compass, but if I want to go to sector c-4, for example, how can I define the proper direction I should follow?

Sorry for all those silly questions, but I am trying to find the best way to do that and somethings I feel overwhelmed by the controls. Trying to setup the gyro in flight and still try to follow a straight line and keeping the altitude (even with trim), seems really complex.

I read the beginners manual from Lewis a couple of times and I still feel kind of lost

If you have some tips or links that I could read about navigation and how to keep sane with all those controls at the same time, I would really really appreciate!

Certainly not my area of expertise (no area is!), but you can have a look in these threads, and you might find some helpful info.

There are probably others buried in the threads as well.

There are tools in the in game map as well, and you could give those a try.

You have to take into account the magnetic deviation and add 10 percent (give the poor compass a tip for helping you out...)

Where can I find the key command assignments

In game you'll find the controls in settings.

In here, there is a list of each plane and controls needed. They are sticky threads in this flight school section.
