    Gladiator ground handling

Will not pivot left, using British style braking and rudder use. Tried german toe brakes. No go.
Also want to report CR42 very slow to pivot left or right. Using high revs almost enough to nose over.
All, let me repeat All Other Aircraft No Problem in pivoting on ground from complete stop.
I only fly in single player and tried in multiple missions.
    Any help much appreciated.

This problem is fixed, was my computer setting. I am able to use toe brakes now, but shouldnt this be British braking system CR42 also?

    Hi whurst1,

Thanks for letting us know. I'm not the flight modelling person but have spent some time in the Gladiator building missions so may be able to assist.

To help trouble shooting can you let me know the following please

    (a) Did this occur when you tried to leave your spawn-in point or at some other stage in your taxi?

    (b) How are your brakes set up and how were you using them?

    (c) Did the aircraft turn if you throttled up and used rudder?

    (d) Was this online of offline in a mission. if in a mission which one?

    (e) Was the AI able to taxi OK (if you engaged it)?

Once i get some ideas re the above we may be able to narrow down the issue.

    Ezzie

It turns left if you use rudder + brakes + throttle ”bursts”. It turns even better i you have Left/right brakes mapped. Im not sure how the Gladiator brakes worked, were there separate toe brakes ?

Nope, real plane use the traditional British air operated differential brakes (wheel brakes+rudder) with "bicycle" lever on "spade" grip, like Spitfire, Hurricane. See the pressure monitor instrument in cockpit.

This R/L brakes you find perhaps is a North Africa "field mod".
