Is there anyway I can force the resolution higher than my native res of 1920 x 1080 60hz?
I'm sure I've read somewhere how it can be done, I can't seem to find the info anywhere.
Or did I just imagine it?!
Thanks in advance
Jon

Hi
Just google for Downsampling or Supersampling. If you have an Nvidia-card, it`s pretty easy. With AMD you will need some workarounds...
MSI GAMING G65 // i7 4770k @ 4.2GHZ // ASUS GTX 780 CUll // 8GB RAM (@1600mhz) // Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit Version
Thrustmaster T16000 + Saitek x52 Throttle // Saitek Throttle Quadrant // MFG Crosswind Pedals // Track IR 5

Here's a good thread that got me down sampling:

As you will see, it's easy to do using the Nvidia Control Panel setting "Custom Resolutions".
Pros:
Clod looks even better visually
Shimmering in the distance is reduced and even eliminated depending on how you go.
Easier to ID friend or foe as you draw near
Cons
Frame rate takes a hit
harder to spot distant pixel-sized contacts
higher resolutions may need lower refresh rate ie. your 120 Hz monitor may only be capable of 60 Hz at the higher res.
A lot depends on your monitor's capability. Start conservatively and work up. Each time you try a higher resolution the NCP software will "test" your monitor. If your monitor "fails" a resolution the screen will momentarily go black (don't panic) then come back on saying "nope".
Good luck!

Thanks for the replies Guys,
I might have a look this weekend, if I lose too much FPS I'll set it back to native.
Thanks again.
