Having a few issues mapping all the buttons I want on the X52. Can't find what numbers the hat switches are.
Also can't have my Saitek pedals plugged in with the joystick, otherwise it goes bat shit crazy.

I can't get my x52 pro to register any buttons, the only thing that works are the axis...? Is there a config file that points to joystick ID's like in CloD or do you have to load a custom XML for every joystick?
Only the axis are available at this stage according to video on the subject ,
Well on my X52 I've mapped buttons quite successfully. I actually can't map the sliders or dials, or the hat switches as I don't know how to reference them. My main issue is that with my pedals plugged in it's a complete night mare.
The other issue is that the RSI forums are a useless place to go for help. Too many people, with not enough brain cells between them. Too much disinformation, and signal to noise ratio is way out of whack.
@hnbdgr. Download the x55 xml file, and change all references to js2 to js1 (the x52 is only one joystick despite being HOTAS). Then open up the game controller window through your profile menu (by the clock on taskbar). Use this to identify which button numbers you want to map, and then change the button numbers in the xml to what they are. Save. Then load using the "pp rebindkeys " etc that Phill posted earlier.
Managed to get most things bound and finally gave it a proper try out today... well it's good but it could be better! Aiming with the joystick is extremely difficult, it's much easier to aim with the mouse!!! Apart from that, lots of teething problems, gamma jumps all over the place for me, objects flicker, etc. etc. Immersive it certainly isn't as of yet...
Any news on when they're going to release the bug fixes and also multiplayer for everyone?
Warning: I have a stick and I don't know how to use it! They call me BAIT.
