Bf 110 skins

Here is a one off.
I believe this aircraft was a D model although can't be certain for sure.
Due to the game graphics had to omit the prop white when flying but will show the correct prop colours when stationary.
The original photo has been reported taken in Russia and since I can't see much of the aft section I have done this aircraft in the 1941 RLM 74/75 based in Belgium.
If anyone has more details on the aircraft pls let me know. It was also differcult to get the Rositta font 100% but did my best to match it.

Someone else asked this recently, so I'll copy and paste the response to them. I hope it works for you, it seemed to for the original poster of the question:


"You can find them here (they might be in a different location depending on where you have you're install, and maybe even depending on operating system..I'm not sure):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\PaintSchemes\Skins

There is a separate set of skins under 'User/..' but don't use these, and don't save you're edited skins to this location or they won't show in the game (this applies to my own install, but I think some others have actually found the reverse to be true!! :-( So experiment a bit if you can't see your edited skins in-game."

Note that the game has a few issues regarding skins and you might only see your own selected skin when flying online (and can't see other members selected skins, only the default ones) ..
...and also; during playback of tracks default markings always show up even if you selected a skin with custom made markings.

'Weathering' (wear) can't always be changed either. You can always do it by opening the mission in Full Mission Builder, clicking on the aircraft (a window/box will open) and moving the weathering slider to zero in the right had tab of that window. Save the mission to apply the changes.
