    71st Squadron

    Website:
    http://www.il2aceshigh.com/

For those who do not know us, we are a (mostly) North-American based group, but we also have Brits and people from all over the world. We fly pretty much everything (Battle of Stalingrad, Cliffs of Dover, DCS, etc) and we are pretty laid back. In Cliffs, we fly mostly British because there's nothing quite like flying for the underdog. We do not aim to recruit Mavericks or Icemans, but we favour someone who has a teamwork-oriented mindset rather than someone who gets a lot of kills (obviously, both of these traits are not mutually exclusive). Our goal is first and foremost to have fun and to help each other. We fly fighters, but we also fly bombers; so there's something fun for everyone to do and you're never alone. We train, we teach and we put into practice on a regular basis, but we also understand that real life comes first.

We take pride in flying as a unit and using teamwork to achieve our goals against seemingly impossible odds. We believe that the strength of a squadron as a whole is greater than the sum of its parts; and we put this motto to the test on a daily basis. If you want to have fun and want to become a better pilot, feel free to hit us up on Teamspeak, in-game or to send me or any other 71st member a personal message on the ATAG forums. We don't bite (except Mastiff).

Here's a good overview of what we do in Cliffs of Dover. Now's your chance to join the madness in Cliffs, DCS or Stalingrad.

For those looking for a good squad with good pilots and a lot of fun to be had, you can't do much better than the lads of the 71st. I've had the pleasure of flying with many of them over the past few years and they are a great bunch to a man.

    We certainly think so!

Thanks to all who've commented here, we're quite fortunate to have both Gamecock and Decibel in the 71st's ranks. It's our intention to create a bigger squadron presence over the coming months, and to foster cooperation with other squads. We look forward to flying with (and against) all of you!

    Re: 71st Squadron

Ok, don't want to sound like an idiot here lol, but I got accepted I guess and cannot log into aceshigh no way what so ever. When I click on link, it takes straight to asking me for password, that it keeps saying is incorrect. I guess I miss typed it when creating it, but have no option to changed it, so I'm stuck. What I'm trying to get at, does anybody here know, who the leader or admin is for the squad that accepts new recruits let him know my situation, not making me sound like a complete idiot lol and have him get ahold of me??
