Brilliant...muchos funz playing this game in the past
One that I have been following for a bit is "Mechwarrior Living Legends" (http://www.mechlivinglegends.net/) It's made by fans who volunteer their time as far as I know, but unlike most mechwarrior games you can also drive tanks, aircraft etc. The big difference there is living legends uses the original crysis engine, which to my mind is still the best physics engine in a game (and is way WAY better then the new cryengine due to it being made for high end PC's and no consideration for consoles). Just from some of the beta footage I've been seeing there I'd say it makes this look like a 5 year old XBOX game in comparison (nicer graphics on some stuff sure but the physics and gameplay would be lacking).
Sure the cockpit graphics aren't quite as nice or interactive, but the environments would be a lot more interactive with the old crysis engine and the projectile physics are better too. Not to mention being able to bail from your mech and run in a suit and still fight...
Almost there! Leaked video from beta testing. This is gonna be a blast :geek:

S!
Been playing MWO since last year after getting a Founder's Package. Been a blast! New Mechs are coming in and new maps. Sure still beta with quirks, but at least you feel like piloting a Mech, not a twitchy TV like in Hawken. Sorry Hawken boys, but FPS twitchiness and Mechs just do not go hand in hand
Rig for gaming...
