    Fraps on Joystick Button?

    Hi all,

I have heard of people talking about assigning fraps to a joystick button, but cannot figure out how to do this!

    Help would be appreciated.

    Jack

    Hi Jack,

FRAPS will not accept a Directx joystick button as a hotkey (unlike TrackIR, for instance). You have to have a 3rd party software program like Thrustmaster's TARGET or FOXY, or CH Control Manager to program a keyboard character to your joystick which FRAPS will recognize.

I was in contact with FRAPS about this a few months ago. They were genuinely puzzled why anyone would want to do this when there is a perfectly good 104 - character keyboard right in front of you. The concept of HOTAS was a little over their collective heads, but they promised me that their Research and Development Team "would look into this". And then they signed off and rejoined their R&D Team in the office Pong championships.....

Hi, I am Mariabella. I like to play different games. Last night I used to play Asphalt 9. Suddenly my joystick was crashed. Please recommend me the best joystick for gamming.
