Fighters spottercard for AXIS aircraft

Made this for Lusekofte couple days back, thought I'd put it up here to help fellow newbies like myself!
Note the friendly Italian G.50, pilots!
Especially if they fly unmarked, remember to always double check what you are shooting at.
It's a mistake I make a lot, especially if I play with a wide FOV.. often I find out it's friendly when I'm well within firing range!

Installation

Go to the folder [my documents]\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover -MOD\DashPics\Selected
You will see a file called "1.tga" MAKE A BACKUP OF THIS IF YOU'D LIKE TO REVERT IT BACK TO DEFAULT ONE DAY!
Overwrite the "1.tga" file with the one you downloaded.
Boot up the game and try it out!

Though, the G.50 in one column with the Spitfire and Hurricane? Not that a new blue pilots regards it as legitimate target as well.
Of course, if it was painted in blue...

Nice work, I'd suggest doing them all, always useful. Like DUI said, maybe color code some of them when you mix sides like above. I love it though.

Maybe in the installation instructions it's better to indicate to make a backup of the original file before paste your image in the case that you want to revert back.

If it is okay for you i´d like to post some ideas regarding the "friendly fire" problem with the G50. (if not, just tell and i delete the following part).

1. it may be useful to anounce the presence of a G50 in the chat
2. it may be useful to select a skin with colored nose (i know there is a yellow nose skin available at least at some maps)
3. it may be useful not to imitate red flight pattern in the G50, for example bouncing the own airfield octeville which happened yesterday all the time though there was no enemy plane nearby

I completely agree that one has to identify any contact properly before shooting, but especially on "Relinquish" or any other map with the sun very low it is extremely hard to identify color schemes and sometimes even silhouettes. Therefore i think the G50 jockeys can also do a little part to reduce friendly fire.

The announcing of a G.50 in the air is half the battle against getting TK'd I guess.

Yesterday though, spotted a 109 glued to a G.50s six.
The G.50 was flashing his profile and shaking wings, yet the 109 peppered him with cannons.

Yeah the lighting in that map makes it hard to see colours, even shot down Haza yesterday :'(
Gotta remember to double check targets when in gunrange properly :c

it's always tempting to shoot a G50, I highly recommend mission makers give it a yellow nosed skin by default. IF there is a yellow wingtip skin, even better.

EDIT:

found these skins with recognizable wing patterns we could certainly have something like that. Look at the white crosses and white paint on tail and wingtips.

Nope they all have em, just in different positions so it's behind the wings or w/e.
