SCROLL DOWN, THERE ARE LOTS OF PICTURES AND VIDEOS!
Yesterday, I went down to North Weald (The base of eagle squadron) Where a couple of friends picked me and my father up in a Cessna 172. We flew south over Eastchurch and vectored towards Manston/Ramsgate, (Unfortunately the weather was awful over the English Knob so we couldn't fly over it)
I then took over control, and very gladly vectored the plane towards Dover at 500ft. I kept the Castle on the right, and then made a sweeping right hand turn over Dover harbour! I flew down the coast to the south, past where Hawkinge and Lympne used to be (They are built over now with houses and schools etc.) We then vectored down towards English Point, past over the former Littlestone and landed at Lydd.
After Lunch at Lydd, we went North, directly over Biggin Hill, and got ATC permission to cross London at 1500ft above Canary Wharf. It was spectacular!!!
After Landing, we waved our friends goodbye, as they flew back home to White Waltham. We then decided it would be a good idea to drive all the way to Lincoln to buy a guitar, cash in hand, from a guy that was selling it on eBay (It's a Beauty) After that we drove all the way back to Norwich, and finally arrived home at 22:58 Local Time, after an 8am start, and 4 hours of sleep the night before due to excitement
