    The Wellington's Camouflage

Okay guys, I always figured that the Wellington had black undersides because it operated at nighttime. But, in Squadron/Signal's Messerschmitt Bf-110 Zerstörer In Action book, there's a picture of some Wellingtons at the Battle of Heligoland Blight. It's broad daylight, but they have black undersides. What's up with that?

They were at the wrong place, wrong time.
