It was definitely a fun event and should be repeated in similar fashion in the future.
Very successful for me as well. Even though I almost exclusively fly the 109 I got 4 of them plus like 3 Stukas in my Spit.
What a great mission, had a great time.
Thanks Drock, great effort.

Thanks to the ATAG guys I had a blast and to Godfathers Stuka group for helping me out as I'm not really experienced and fairly new. A big thanks to Endless for letting me know about the event, looking forward to doing more of them.
Cheers WhiteYeti.

From a partly worn out pilot perspective, this was really fun. Amazing how many skilled fliers there are about. Thank you very much for this excellent event. I hope to be with you next time
Great fun... can't wait for the next one.
Guys this was a success due to all of your time and effort put into it. From the bottom of my heart I truly do want to thank each and everyone one of you who created, tested and made this happen. And I extend that to all who participated in this AWSOME EVENT! Without you this would have all been for naught. Thank you soooooooo much!
I spent the whole day sleeping THE major hangover so I want to see videos
Thanks DRock, Freya, Stormbat, InvaderZim, Flare, Injerin, Colander, and Snapper for creating a great one! Keep Stuka Storm on your short list of missions to re-run some day soon :)
Short, simple 'n sweet. Loved it.
Also, thanks to Madmaxkilla, Ruff and others for helping this noob Stuka pilot from cooking his engine. Didn't know it could be a problem at altitude!
Man...that was a close match, guys. Well done Reds. But Blues came within a HAIR of victory. Do you know how close? Let me show you. I happened to capture video of the last required target being bombed. A single transport ship. Ship #8 of the 8 required. Did we hit it, or did we not? Video below.
Disclaimer: this is just raw, unedited video uploaded immediately after the event while the juices are still flowing. The only drama is knowing its context:
- Third and final Stuka/109 crossing. On the deck. Do or die.
- My engine got shot up 1 mile from the harbor. In the drink my Stuka goes.
- 5 minutes left in match!
- Bravo (harbor) still needed. Alpha (Ships) still needed!!
- I randomly yank the scroll bar down in the player list and literally double-click on the first Stuka gunner slot that my eyeball finds.
- it's WhiteYeti...I'm in his gunner seat. What's he up to? I have no idea.
- video begins here...
(pause it around the 0:23 mark :)
P.S. I know the video sucks. I just wanted to share footage captured by pure luck showing how close the campaign actually was ;)

I also give a big thanks to the guys who owned me while saving my comrades in flight, I would also like to thank all the STUKA's I flew through for all the well placed holes though my wings.... lol. I really had a blast fellas and lets hope there are alot more.
Drock, Freya, Zim, Stormy, Snap, Col, keep it rolling my fellow brothern.

Great Event and big Fan!
Our group consisted of five boards. And we had to attack the eastern part of sector CHARLIE. Our airfield was Oye Plage. When was the first flight we come to the rendezvous point (and we lingered at the start) I saw a huge number of aircraft on the French Point. It was an impressive! Unfortunately my Bandikam refused to fix this action. We joined the group in excess of 500 meters and the group began to go on the course. At the same moment we were attacked and two aircraft returned home with injuries.
Valek successfully attacked two hangars in our sector and then was shot down.
The server is constantly informed about the destruction of our comrades by Corvette ship. After the first raid were destroyed both part of the sector Charlie.
In the second raid, we attacked the sector alpha.
I attacked the eastern Corvette. After the dive, and drops the bomb, I lost a wing and fell into the water. Our guys attacked transport ships. Sandy made two attack and sank two ships. Corvette was damaged but still fiercely fired at our aircraft.
In the third raid in our group left three Junkers and after took of and rally, we did not fall at zero and took the 1500 meters and came close to the right of the main group.
Red's attack on lower was terrible. Every now and then before our eyes climbed up after the attack, our 109th, overturned and fell again and again in this mess.
General group comes to ships. We leave to the right and go around the ships with the Corvette by east and attack in one drop sector Bravo from the rear. We went out on the water and ready to attack remained ships. Was reported about destroying Sector Bravo. Good!!! Sandy attacked western Corvette and it explodes. A second before it has time to attack Corvette damage him and he falls into the water. I see eastern Corvette, a burning cargo ship and one more semiflooded. I dive on Corvett drop and nothing I understand that have no bombs...
Return to home. All мy comrades shot down...Mission ended. Reds defended Dover. landing on Wissant...Just two damaged ship has not sunk at this time.
Thanks ATAG, thank you to everyone who participated and prepared this Event! We are looking forward to the next!
Seconded! Big thanks to GF and Haza for making sure our little tail end Charlie group held it together.
The first wave provided an enduring memory - watching the carnage all around and then suddenly finding myself unscathed off Folkestone. Took out a ship, got my rudder shot to ribbons and made it back to safety across the channel. Huzzah!
The less said about the second wave the better as I blew my engine during forming up.
The third and final low-level wave was particularly entertaining with GF humming the Ride of the Valkyries over TS. Shame I was downed before getting to the target. I would love to have known what the first wave looked like incoming from the allied side of things.
We will be hosting Stuka Storm again in the future, to give people a chance to try a new aircraft and get a different perspective.
I too, would love to try and intercept the Stukas.
ATAG members are working on several more campaigns for the community. New maps are being made, with lots of new targets, and featuring a different selection of aircraft each time.
These campaigns are a great way to get to know a new aircraft you may have never flown. Look for training of the featured aircraft in our flight school the week leading up to the campaign. Also, several people have offered to have practice nights for the bombers. A great idea.
Look for our next campaign within a few weeks.

Many thanks to organizers of an event!
Despite losses, it was interesting. Especially impressed a huge number of Stukas.
You guys should make the next one so that everyone MUST switch sides next time... to mix it up.
Regardless if you know how to or not, learn before or learn as you go during the flight...your choice.
But make it so that everyone on the list flying Stukas this time, must fly RAF and the same for the RAF, must fly Stukas or BF109 support fighters to cover.
Then you got something here!
I would also like to offer a huge thank you to all those involved with organizing this event and all the pilots that participated. This event was the kind of match that I longed for since I started playing Cliffs. Just from TS chatter that day, you could tell a lot of people were seeing something they had never seen before. There are certain moments that I will never forget in Cliffs and this one will rank at the top for some time. I survived the event without loss of my 109 until less than a minute left when a corvette killed my pilot. I had 2.07 kills and put a beating on a Spit and a Hurricane towards the end but game ended before they went down. I'll call it 2 kills and 2 prob.
Can't wait for the next event you guys come up with.
DS
it was great! looking forward to next one. thanks to guys that did all hard work in organizing this event.

Your 12:00 mark is my 0:00 mark in my post #135 video above, FYI. At that point you were actually zoomed in on WhiteYeti's Stuka hitting the final required ship. Not sure if you knew that. Pretty cool.
