Re: External View Utility for Recorded Tracks

I would like to make a video with some external views, based on online mission I played. But I got an issue with "track editor". When I uploaded track bigger than 100Mb (120Mb for this current file) - track is not processed. Page responded with "Error: No file uploaded". The track file is not broken, it is played by game but external views disabled. Everything works fine with second track from that mission (I resarted recording in the air on the way home and its size is about 92Mb).
Is it possible to set file limit size bigger, to 200Mb for exmaple?

Video should be about Br.20 sortie on Tobruk map, similar this one:

Re: External View Utility for Recorded Tracks

    Hi Rostic,

I don't have the know-how to increase the editable trk file size - unfortunately.

The only thing I can suggest is a very kludgy work around - play your trk file and record a trk for about half of it, hit Pause, then Exit, and Stop Recording, then hit Record to start a second .trk file for the balance of your original trk recording. The two smaller .trks (each about half the size of your original trk file) should be editable in the Track Editor and can be spliced together during your video editing process.

I just tried this by recording a trk file in the Allied vs Axis ATAG server (much smaller than your 120 MB trk file, though). The two halves that I recorded as trks would not give me external views (same as my original) but then I ran both smaller trks through the Track Editor and external views were enabled.

I apologize if you are familiar with this work around. I admit that this is a royal pain in the butt, but it's the only way I can think of to enable external views in your original trk file.

Quickest way to get "Error: No file uploaded" is to click on the Process Track button as soon as that page loads. Just to the left of the Process Track button is a button marked Choose File. Click there on Choose File and navigate to the track you want to unlock. Then click the Process Track button and wait...

    The instruction isn't correct
"1.- Click on BROWSE and select the track to modify." because the only place the word BROWSE appears on the page is in that very sentence and it isn't clickable... it might better say click on Choose File...

I've done that...That is how I got the error. I chose my file, then hit process and got the error after a minute or two

Where did the track come from? Perhaps it has proprietary locking the algorithm can't decode. And how big is it?

Re: External View Utility for Recorded Tracks

When uploading the track I get "Error: No file uploaded" after the file was apparently uploading. (I can see the upload traffic)
Any idea? Seems like a php issue. I tried different browser (Chrome, and then.. Edge)

I tried searching the forums, I get some results but the links are not pointing to the posts where the search engine found my term.

it might be file size related. Seems like the connection runs into a timeout. Any way to extent that?

My file is around 160MB large.
