directx 11?

With my setup (3570k@4.5GHz, GTX 770 2Gb, 8Gb RAM and SSD) I can comfortably run DCS at 50fps. However when there are lots of objects in view or a a number of aircraft, the fps drops to about 30 and I get micro stutters. I am keen to remove this issue and maintain 50fps or even 60fps in all situations.

Will the performance increases proposed by the introduction of DirectX 11 likely deliver the performance boost I am after or should I look at purchasing a 900 series GPU?

Ok, but I think you got my point regardless. Why spend the money on a marginally better gpu when you might not need it in a few months?
